Currently I'm finishing
my PhD in Physics at the University of Buenos Aires. My research
focuses on phase transitions in mesoscopic systems by means of
numerical simulations. Here
you can take a look at the Computational Physics group I work for. My
broader research interests varies from complex systems to neuroscience
and include, among others, scale-free networks, the mathematical
modeling of the spread of infectious diseases, systems exhibiting
self-organized criticality, neural networks, bioinformatics, the use of
genetic algorithms in solving problems and advanced Molecular Dynamics
techniques.
I have the opportunity to have fun with some of these topics, and other problems from statistical physics in the Computational Physics course I teach.
