UBA Condensed Matter Theory

Welcome to the homepage of the Condensed Matter Theory group of the Department of Physics of the College of Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires. Our research interests span several areas of theoretical condensed matter physics, including strongly correlated systems, high-Tc superconductivity, magnetic nanostructures, ab-initio band-structure calculations, glass dynamics, mesoscopic systems, persistent currents, many-body phenomena in quantum wells, wires and dots, and quantum kinetics in semiconductors.
