TOPICS IN QUANTUM OPTICS

• 1- The quantized electromagnetic field. Field operators. Fock states. Coherent states. Sub-Poissonian and squeezed states. Squeezing and the parametric oscillator.
• 2- Phase space representations. The Wigner distribution. Quantum tomography. The Husimi and the Glauber-Sudarshan distributions.
